Project Deliverable 2- The Buyer and Products 1.
Provide the name and description (persona) of the buyer (in your own words). Include the communication style of the person and why you believe this to be true, along with other observations about the buyer’s personality that you believe may be important to note.
The name of the buyer I was given was Ms. Emily Broadstroke, I would describe her as goal orientated individual. From the video, Ms. Broadstroke seems to enjoy success and working with others. Based on the short video, I would say she has a reflective style of communication. In the video she states that she enjoys working with a team. She also states that “sometimes it’s the things that one fails to consider that are exactly
the thing that ends up important”, meaning that stating and making unpopular opinions
and decisions are important and needed. 2.
Explain, specifically, the adaptive selling approaches you will use to build a strong relationship with this individual, and why you chose them. Explain any other strategies
you will use to partner with your buyer.
To build a strong relationship with Ms. Broadstoke I would listen to her overall goals for the company to find out exactly what she needs. After listening to her, I would provide my thoughts and ideas on how I can make her goals happen as well as broadening the company. When providing details, I will come with data to show where
we are and where we could be.
3.
Provide a description of your company’s product line/s that you will represent.
The products that I will represent for Steelcase Inc. would be moderate classroom furniture which would target the educational/office industry. When representing the Steelcase Inc. products, I would model products in a classroom and/or office setting to allow a visual presentation, in which would allow a faster and realistic decision.

Goal Statement: Our goal is to improve the overall mental health status of veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP by up to 80% for those struggling with mental health challenges by facilitating real-time accessibility to a peer support platform utilizing a mobile app to fill the gap that currently exists when veterans are awaiting appointments for psychological supports that are currently funded by Veterans Affairs of Canada. We aim to reduce the strain on the general health system due to the repeated appointments with a veteran's primary care practitioner to inquire about further mental health resources and to improve a veterans quality of life while they are adjusting to civilian life in between their federally funded psychological supports.

Project Management - Risk Management
1. Risk management is a critical portion of project management. However, is it possible to cripple the project by being too risk wary?
2. Situation - Project managers must realize that they must manage risks and issues in a timely and effective manner. However, many project teams do not practice effective and continuous risk management throughout the project life cycle, preferring to wait until the risk becomes realized, and becomes an issue, before taking any action. Project manager must identify the project risk and review some tools and best practices that make project jobs more effective.
Does above situation has a valid point – why or why not?
Do you think above situation only applies to large scope projects, or does it also apply to smaller ones?

FAO-Funded Aquaponics Project Launched In Barbados
Barbados GIS – The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has collaborated with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, and local business Adams Aquafarms, on a project to train persons in aquaponics. Aquaponics is a sustainable way of integrating land-based fish farming with plant production. Both are placed in a tank, and the set up allows for them to coexist, with the waste produced by the fish fertilizing the plants, while the plants purify the water for the fish. The training, funded by the FAO, will take place at a demonstration facility, located at Adams Aquafarms, Hopewell, St. Thomas. The FAO is currently targeting 30 entrepreneurs and 10 teachers. Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, Kirk Humphrey, believes the project will be “transformative”, as it has the potential to…

Discussion 3
Discussion 3
When using a project triangle to illustrate conflicting priorities, Microsoft suggests that if the problem is in the fixed leg, work on the other two legs. For example, if the project must not exceed the budget and it is starting to run over, adjust the schedule, or the scope, or both. However, if the problem is not related to the fixed leg, the adjustment might have to be in the remaining leg. So, when faced with an inflexible budget (fixed leg) and the schedule is slipping (problem leg), the project’s scope (remaining leg) might have to be adjusted. Why is explaining this situation to management sometimes a very difficult task for the systems analyst?
